Camerota Truck Parts proudly opens it's eighth branch in Olyphant, Pennsylvania.   Located just south of Scranton, PA our newest facility provides a full range of light and heavy duty OEM parts, new and remanufactured manual and automatic transmissions, rear differentials, driveshafts, steering boxes, on and off highway units for trucks of all sizes.   With branches throughout the Northeast, the new Pennsylvania facility further expands Camerota Truck Parts reach to provide delivery and drivetrain expertise to customers throughout the Northeast.

Camerota Truck Parts honored with NATIONAL AWARD - 2011 HEAVY DUTY REMANUFACTURER OF THE YEAR

At the Remanufacturing Summit in Las Vegas on January 17, 2011, the Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group (HDRG) of the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) awarded Camerota Truck Parts its prestigious “Mike Hill Heavy Duty Remanufacturer of the Year Award”. The award is given to a company or individual who has demonstrated innovative ways to create and grow a successful business model and in the process supported industry efforts to advance the science of remanufacturing.

According to Bill Gager, President of APRA/HDRG, the panel’s decision to award Camerota Truck Parts of Enfield, CT this year’s prestigious award was because they are a leading independent remanufacturer in the aftermarket. “The recent emphasis of heavy duty engine parts remanufacturers as a constituent group within HDRG has expanded our horizons to an all encompassing view of the marketplace including independents, major OEM component suppliers, OEM service as well as the traditional rebuilders of electrical, drivetrain, brake, and steering” stated Gager. “With over 300 members within the current HDRG membership structure there seems to be plenty of room for growth and HDRG welcomes everyone involved in heavy duty remanufacturing.”

 Camerota Truck Parts was selected because of their success in executing a customer driven growth strategy, they have numerous repair and installation facilities in the Northeast, with headquarters in Enfield CT. They celebrated their 50^th anniversary in 2010 as a leader in drivetrain expertise and satisfaction. The company was started in 1960 by Salvatore “Sam” Camerota (father of the current owners – Frank, Salvatore, and Steven). In 1974 the focus of the company was shifted to remanufacturing transmissions, rear differentials, and steering boxes. Their large remanufacturing, sales, service, and distribution facility is in Enfield CT. Other facilities are in North Haven CT, Westborough MA, Bow NH, Bangor ME, Valley Cottage NY, and Hamilton NJ.   This second generation family owned business employs 165 people throughout the northeast.

A core strength of their company is their flexibility and ability to capitalize on growth opportunities as well as the hard work by top management and all their employees.  In accepting the award, President Frank Camerota stated, “As a culture we embrace change by focusing on continuous improvement.  The next 5 to 10 years will present a lot of opportunities for change and we need to be looking ahead and prepare our company and our employees for these changes.”

Frank Camerota accepted the award from Sandra Standley, HDRG Chairman.  Standley stated, “Having Camerota Truck Parts receive this award, is a fitting tribute for a company that has long supported the remanufacturing industry.”

Camerota Truck Parts Westborough MA facility is proud to become the newest ZF Authorized Reman Center in the Northeast for both on-highway and off-highway axles and transmissions.   As a ZF Authorized Reman Center, Camerota Truck Parts provides quality Factory Authorized Warrantee work, mobile diagnostic and repair services, extensive ZF parts and transmission inventory including the Ecomat, Astronic and Freedom Line units.  We are very proud of this partnership with ZF which continues our company-wide commitment to continuous improvement and expanding services offered to satisfy the needs of our customers.

Camerota Truck Parts proudly opens it's seventh store.   The facility located at 5B South Gold Drive in Hamilton, New Jersey  08620 offers a full range of light and heavy duty OEM parts, new and remanufactured manual and automatic transmissions, rear differentials, driveshafts and steering boxes for trucks of all sizes.  The Hamilton, New Jersey facility – located just south of Trenton, NJ -  provides delivery and drivetrain expertise to customers in the New Jersey, Delaware and southeast Pennsylvania market areas.    

Camerota Truck Parts Enfield, CT facility is proud to become the newest authorized Northeast Service Center for Cummins mid-range engines and authorized mid-range Cummins parts dealer.   Becoming an authorized parts Dealer and Service Center for the Cummins mid-range engine line at Camerota Truck Parts further strengthens our commitment to expanding products and services offerings to satisfy our customers.

Camerota Truck Parts is very proud to announce that all of our Service facilities are now Spartan Authorized Service Centers for both Spartan Fire Truck Chassis and Spartan Motorhome Chassis.     Achieving certification as a Spartan Authorized Service Center in our Enfield Connecticut, Westborough Massachusetts and Bow New Hampshire Service facilities is in keeping with our company-wide commitment to continuous improvement and expanding services offered to our customers.
