Pre-tested Diesel Motors

• Sold complete, water pump to flywheel
• All cores accepted—regardless of condition
• At time of purchase, engine is mounted on our test stand and run for customer inspection

All motors are run in the truck & checked for:

• Sufficient oil pressure
• Excessive smoke or “blow by”

Engine is removed and sent to our Motor Department where each engine is:

• An oil sample is taken and an independent analysis is performed for metal, water and contaminants
• The oil filter is cut open and inspected for bearing material which would indicate early crankshaft or bearing wear

Engine is mounted on our test stand with fresh oil, filters and coolant and run up to temperature for at least one hour to:

• Ensure proper oil pressure is maintained
• Check for internal and external cracks in casting
• Ensure correct governor operation with an electronic photo-tach
